STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING IS THE SCIENCE AND ART OF DESIGNING AND MAKING, WITH ECONOMY AND ELEGANCE, BUILDINGS, BRIDGES, FRAMEWORKS AND OTHER SIMILAR STRUCTURES SO THAT THEY CAN SAFELY RESIST THE FORCES TO WHICH THEY MAY BE SUBJECTED.

At Angell Thompson & Partners Ltd we have an experienced design team led by Philip Gasson and Malcolm Henderson ably supported by knowledgeable technicians.

The Practice has been responsible for the design and detailing of a wide range of low rise and multi-storey structures utilising reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry. Our design team are well versed in the latest technology, using computers through all stages of building development from design through to drawing and detailing.

We are specialists in the construction, alteration, extensions and refurbishment of domestic and commercial properties.

We also have experience in the diagnosis, repair and reinstatement of concrete structures where they have suffered damage as a result of chemical attack, ASR and corrosion of steel reinforcement.

We pride ourselves in producing clear, practical and economic designs for a full range of structures from domestic extensions through to multi-story buildings using our in house Architectural Technicians. Where applicable our close association with various Architectural Practices and other Building Professionals enables us to provide a comprehensive package for the successful design of any type of building.
